1.What is the KHAY band set-up and is it the same for each event?
A: We are a trio including Guitar (electric & acoustic), Drums/Percussion and Vocals. Our physical set up is small and intimate and we ONLY play at volumes desired by our hosts. Our set up remains the same for each and every one of our live events.
2.What if I don’t live in a house and still want to book a Live Music House Concert?
A: No problem! If you live in a condo, a great idea is to book your building’s common room. All we need is a room large enough to hold a minimum of 30 people and we’re good to go.
Another great option is to co-host an event with a friend who has a space large enough to accommodate all of the people you love. Co-hosting a Live Music House Concert is also a great way to share your love of live music. Outdoor/Backyard events are the perfect way to accommodate all of your music loving friends.
3.What if I’m a newbie at hosting an event? What and how should I prepare and should I ask my guests to bring anything?
A: Newbie…No problem! We’ll take care of everything to do with the music and set-up for you!
All you’ll need to do is forward the prepared e-mail we send you (once you’ve booked) to all of the people you want to share in this night of music magic. (All the details that your guests could ever need to know is contained in this e-mail.)
The rest is simple…asking your guests to bring their favourite beverage or snack makes it even easier for you to focus on just LOVING the live music experience.
If you’d like to offer your guests food or drink at your event…we say "go for it, you party planning machine!"
4.How far will the KHAY trio travel to play our Live Music House Concert?
A: My answer to this question is always…“Let me know where you are in the world and we’ll do our best to make it happen!”
5.Where is the best place in my home to hold our Live Music House Concert?
A: My suggestion is always, whenever possible…LET’S GET OUTSIDE!
There is nothing nicer than a late spring, summer or early fall live music event outdoors. We provide all the necessary equipment (including guest chairs) to make your live event possible outdoors.
When the snow flies or it’s just a little too cold or breezy to be outside, your favourite room indoors is the place to be. As long as your space can accommodate your guests and our trio, we’re ready to make live music magic with you!

2.As the event planner, can I choose the music I’d like played?
A: Absolutely YES!! I want to make sure that the music played at your event is 100% to your liking. After you’ve booked, I'll be in touch to begin helping you create the perfect set list for your special event.
3.What if I’m not EXACTLY sure of what genre of music/songs would work best for my event?
A: I’ve got you, no problem! You tell me the vibe of your event and we’ll come up with a set list and make sure you’re 100% on board long before we step in the door.
4.As the event planner, do I have to concern myself with any of the tech/sound-set up?
A: Absolutely NOT! Easy, breezy and beautiful is how we want your event to roll, so we’ll take care of ALL tech required to make your event a success.
5.How do I decide exactly when the live music should happen at my event?
A: Let’s do this together! Let me know the scope (BIG picture) of the whole event and we’ll collaborate on the perfect spot for the live music magic to take place.
